1Who we are

Arka is operated by Jovan Maksimović, a sole proprietor based in Ugljevik, Bosnia and Herzegovina ("we", "us"). "Arka" is the name of the product, not a separate company. You can reach us at support@arka.today.

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, calling the API, or furnishing with the Blender add-on, you agree to these terms. If you use Arka on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.

2The service

Arka is software that furnishes floor plans. You send the outline of a room (its walls, doors and windows) and either a list of furniture or a plain-language brief; the service returns where each piece goes. It is offered as:

  • the Arka API — a monthly subscription, used from your own application with an API key;
  • Arka for Blender — an add-on for the Blender 3D software that furnishes the rooms you draw in Blender through the same service. Each install comes with a one-time free trial; after that it needs a monthly subscription, activated with a license key;
  • the demo editor on our home page — a free way to try the same API without a key, for trying Arka in the browser — not for use by other applications. It has a small daily allowance.

Everything we sell is software delivered over the internet. We do not sell consulting, design work or any other service performed by a person.

Arka is live and used in production, and it is still growing: features change, and we do not offer an uptime guarantee or a service-level agreement.

3Accounts and keys

You need an Arka account to subscribe to an API plan. Give us a working email address and keep your password to yourself. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to subscribe to a paid plan.

After subscribing you generate an API key in your dashboard; every call to the API must carry it. The key is a secret: anyone who has it can spend your plan's calls, and you are responsible for every call made with it, so keep it on your own server where you can. If your web pages call the API directly from the browser, first add those websites under Allowed websites in your dashboard — in a browser the key then works only on those sites. A key placed in a web page can still be copied and used outside a browser, so for full protection call the API from your own server and keep the key there. If you think your key has leaked, generate a new one; that disables the old key immediately.

The Blender add-on needs no Arka account. When you subscribe, Lemon Squeezy emails you a license key; you paste it into the add-on, which then sends it with every request. The license key is a secret in the same way: anyone who has it can spend your subscription's furnishes, and you are responsible for their use, so do not share it. If you think it has leaked, write to us.

4Plans and quotas

The API plans, their prices and what each includes are listed on the pricing page; the Blender add-on's trial and subscription are on the add-on page. The version shown there when you subscribe is the one that applies to you.

  • Each plan includes a number of placement calls and AI prompts per month (in the add-on, furnishes and Auto furnishes). Only successful calls count.
  • Included calls reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month, whatever day your subscription renews on. Unused calls do not carry over.
  • The quota is a hard cap. When a month's included calls of one kind are used up, further calls of that kind are refused until the reset. There are no overage charges — you are never billed more than the plan price.
  • The add-on's free trial is a fixed number of furnishes, once per install. It does not renew.
  • A self-serve API key works with the placement endpoint and the AI furnishing endpoint described in the API documentation. Other endpoints of the service are not part of these plans. A license key is for use through the Blender add-on only.
  • We apply technical rate limits (requests per second) to keep the service responsive for everyone.
  • You can move to another API plan at any time from your dashboard. The new plan's allowance applies straight away. Moving up, the price difference for the rest of the current billing period is charged immediately; moving down, the unused part of the old plan is credited against your next payments. Your renewal date does not change.

To keep the service fast as it grows, we limit the number of subscribers to each product. Every subscriber gets access as soon as they pay. When all seats are taken, new subscriptions pause and we keep a waitlist; nobody is charged for a place on it.

5Billing and Lemon Squeezy

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells you the subscription, processes your payment, collects any tax that applies, and handles billing questions, refunds and chargebacks.

In practice this means Lemon Squeezy charges your payment method, adds any tax that applies where you live, and sends your receipts and invoices. Lemon Squeezy's own Buyer Terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms. We never see or store your card details.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, and renew automatically every month until you cancel.
  • Prices are shown without tax. Any VAT, sales tax or similar tax is added at checkout according to your location.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Lemon Squeezy retries it and may ask you to update your payment method. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and its key stops working.
  • If we change a plan's price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and it applies from your next renewal after that. You can cancel before then.

6Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time, without giving a reason: open Manage subscription in your Arka dashboard (API plans) or in the Arka panel in Blender (the add-on), or use the link in any receipt from Lemon Squeezy. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then its key stops working.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. The details are in our Refund Policy.

7Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Arka for anything unlawful, or to harm others;
  • attack, overload or probe the service, or try to reach data that is not yours;
  • get around quotas or limits — for example by opening several accounts, by reinstalling the add-on to start new trials, by driving the free demo automatically instead of subscribing, or by presenting Arka's or another company's website as your own to call the API without a key;
  • resell or sublicense the API itself as a competing placement service. Building your own product on top of Arka, and charging for that product, is exactly what the API is for;
  • send us personal data about other people, or confidential or sensitive information, in prompts. The service needs room shapes and furniture, nothing else.

8Your content and results

The room outlines and prompts you send remain yours. You give us permission to process them for the sole purpose of answering your request. We do not store them: see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is kept.

The layouts the service returns are yours to use, including in commercial products. The service is deterministic software fed by a shared furniture library, so similar rooms may receive similar layouts for other customers.

The Arka service itself — the software that runs on our servers, the furniture library, the website and the documentation — remains ours. These terms give you the right to use it, not to own it.

The Blender add-on's own code is free software, released under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. That license, which comes with the add-on, sets your rights to its code, and nothing in these terms limits them. A subscription pays for use of the Arka service the add-on connects to, not for the add-on's code.

9AI features

The AI furnishing feature (Auto furnish in the add-on) uses a large language model from a third party to choose which furniture suits your brief; Arka's own engine then places it. Results are automated suggestions and can be wrong or incomplete.

Nothing Arka returns is architectural, engineering, safety, accessibility or building-code advice. You are responsible for checking any layout before anyone relies on it.

10Availability and changes

We work to keep Arka available and fast, but we provide it without an uptime commitment. We may change, add or remove features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance.

If we ever discontinue the paid service, we will cancel active subscriptions and refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.

11Warranty and liability

Arka is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or business interruption, and our total liability for any claim connected with Arka is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer you keep every right your local consumer law gives you.

12Suspension and ending

You may stop using Arka at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts the service or other customers at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

When an account or a subscription ends, its key stops working. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. For a change that matters, we will give subscribers at least 14 days' notice by email before it applies. If you do not agree with a change, you can cancel before it takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which we are established (Ugljevik, Bosnia and Herzegovina), and its courts have jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
